More than likely the towing fee and lot storeage will "mysteriously" be more than the truck would wholesale for, it's probably better to forget about the truck and let the fugger rust!

Advice, opinions, etc? Keep in mind that I don't actually want the truck back, which is why it was at a buddy's in the first place, and I want to pay the least amount of money possible.

I got it!

Pay the fifty bucks and get your truck out of impound then find some sporting event. Paint the truck like the opposing teams motif and park up close to the stadium. Get a sledge hammer and a little ball peen hammer and charge people $5 dollars a whack with the sledge and $1 dollar a whack with the ball peen. Let the mindless throng of sportsfans beat the **** out of this truck. This way you recoup your cost and make a little back, plus it is a helluva fun time Make sure there are no VIN numbers on your truck so it cannot be traced back to you.

But you have to ask yourself... What would Brian Boitano do?

I called the police, and interestingly enough, talked to the original officer to whom the abandoned vehicle report was made. He confirmed what I had read on the PA DOT website: If i don't want it, after 30 days it belongs to the impound lot. There were no charges filed. The owner of the apartment complex it was at just wanted it out. The police officer told me that there were no fines or anything associated with the case, so he said, and I quote "just let it sit there". The hilarious part is that I called the towing place and offered to transfer them the title so they wouldn't have to get a junk title from the state and file all that paperwork, but they refused! They said that they already have too many vehicles sitting around. Too bad for them, since they got even another one, and are gonna have to file TONS of paperwork to get it, when they could have just taken the title from me. I would have even paid to get it notarized! lol...

mm0000001- it;s an 87 Nissan truck. Runs. Needs a bed and exhaust, some paint. Have an extra truck to give away for free also if you want both, The second truck is an 89, in better shape than the 87 and 4WD (Needs a tranny). If you really want it, come and get it. It's not pretty, and it's not cool, and it needs work. But it was a good truck while I had it-no problems starting or running.
