Well I got back from my lawyers office a while ago..this is the update. My old insurance company is refusing to pay on it uninsured/underinsured clause in my old policy. They don't want to pay because one of the charges aginst the drunk that hit me was no insurance. well at the trial he provided proof in insurance. The insurance he provided was his mother in laws on the car he was driving. The in laws insurance company paid for my doctor bills and the 2 other damaged vehicles. I got a little out of it. however that insurance didn't cover my income loss. Now my old insurance company is saying because the charge was dropped in court he had insurance and that I must use all other insurance before making a claim. Well I know and my lawyer knows that he did not have any and it was his mother in laws insurance that paid out. Basically they say I have to go after the drivers insurance too. The kicker is they say its on me to find out that information not there investigators job. Not true. So my lawyer is sending them a letter telling them that they have 30 days to do a proper investigation on the drivers insurance to see if he did have any when he hit me. Like I said we know on my side that he didn't. so basically they are stalling. Now when they get that demand from my lawyer by law they have 30 days to either do and finish investigation or ask for a some more time because they aren't done. at the end of that time the either pay or get sued for bad faith. By how my lawyer ran down bad faith they are in violation of the old insurance contract.

such fun I can't stand it..so it looks like at least 2 more months...and on top of that I also got put on Alert as some of you already know..How fun.
