well time has come, and i finish school this may which means welcome to the "real world." so i want a new car right ?

i was lookin at the acura tsx because you can buy one decked out for 26k. well, being independant means startin own insurance plan.. im lookin at $250-300 a month for insurance. plus the car payment for the tsx.. hah. so about 700 bucks a month to drive.. i have one small ticket on my record. no accidents..

it would be cheaper for an fd.. prolly around 175 a month...

well, im keeping my 6-cyl mustang for a while thats been paid off for several years.. dropping full-coverage, just have liability, and paying $70 bucks a month.

wow, insurance sucks.

i have 2 jobs lined up, with a nice starting salary, benefits etc... id' rather save money and put it into something else than a ****** car at this point..

im disgusted..

maybe i'll start lookin into buying something that'll hold its value.. a house or something..

I pay $176/mo for a '92 Olds Bravada (4x4 by ins standards) and my FD, both full coverage. Then again, I carry a policy with the same company for my home, and for some reason I'm getting a good student discount, even though I haven't been in school for 5 years.. SHHHHHHHH. Oh, and I'm 23 with one minor ticket (unsafe lane change, lol).

i guess having it under your homeowners.... under some sort of umbrella prolly helps too..

i would get that good student discount if i were still gonna be in school..

yeah, the one ticket i have is a small speeding ticket.. cop knocked it down to 5mph over.

Yeah I was thinking of moving to Alberta or something where they don't totally assrape you for insurance rates..

I'm looking at the same rates probably until I'm about 25.. Or longer..
