I LOVE debian. I just need to get the disc from my boyfriend so I can put it on my computer. Not the computer I am on, because my parent's don't like linux - so I have to put it on our old IBM Aptiva that's behind me. heh, I can't wait

Er, I believe that's what he has. Whatever the newer version of Debian is, he has it.

I have pretty much every version of linux that is worth a **** you guys, but it don't do you much good because you can DL them for free.

yeah, Redhat 8.0, umm, cough, I am not to sure about that, I messed with it for a few days, couldn't find the customization app to change the window manager, then found out that it would no longer support the mp3 file format due to fear of getting in trouble for copywrite crap, at which point I said "screw this" and busted out my RH 7.3 copy, I will say though 8.0 was quite a bit smoother, and more polished than most linux distro's, but the whole point of me using linux is that I enjoy having a very custom desktop. which 8.0 wasn't giving me. (I may have just missed something, if so, please, let me know. i would love to have it working again.)
