Your idconfig error is your video card (i think). You need to pick the right settings or it wont give you the gui. I haven't used linux in 2 or 3 months, so I'm a little rusty.

i have always, and will always say "lie-nucks" i dunno why though, but when the guys that i know know all about comps come around i watch how i pronounce it haha. When i went to Rockstar Games HQ in NYC they busted on me left and right about "lie nucks" bastards.
