please someone help me............. must pass isnpection tomorrow!

i got a ticket on the way to A&M for $130, i feel you're pain.
here's what i did: i drove down the crappiest street here in san antonio (fredrickburgh ave), and looked for the ugliest, run-down shop that had a state inspection sign on the outside. i prefer the mexican shops, b/c they dont speak english and are usually desperate for my business. i found one with a couple of rednecks and said "my car wont pass emissions, my rear tires have maybe 15% tread left, and my power steering rack was converted to a manual rack by plugging the holes. will it pass?" Old Redneck says "depends on how hard it is to turn". he went outside, turn the wheel, checked my blinkers, lights, brake lights, and horn, and passed it while it was sitting in the parking lot, LOL. he didn't even drive my car, hehe. thank God for lazy mechanics and a county (san antonio) that doesn't check emissions. |

Try Rockaway Service in Rockaway NJ...60-80 bucks is an automatic pass w/these guys. |

It's under $20 to get an inspection (Given you don't need any work, lights, etc) here in NY but they don't do emissions here....
a car inspected when it requires no favors. |

yes $80 is so it passes emissions, most places are $100-120.
