anyone in the new jersey area i need to pass inspection and the shop i normally go to went under new management and is no longer a "friendly" shop.



so if anyone knows of a place or whatever please let me know via PM, aim (teknicsiny2g) or as a reply in this post. its very important i cant afford inspection tickets everyday.

i had a place $80 to get it inspected, went to do it and bam new management no more passing inspection.



i know you NJ guys must know someone, ito you definitely gotta know someone.

You paid $80 for an inspection? Is this because of emissions testing?



It's under $20 to get an inspection (Given you don't need any work, lights, etc) here in NY but they don't do emissions here....



Are you paying an extra $60 to them to ignore the DP and Non-Emissions Legal car or something...

 

yes $80 is so it passes emissions, most places are $100-120.



i have 0 emissions on my car, and it shoots flames. needless to say it wont pass a smog test.



come on someone must have a place!

Gen D is a little safer for this, is it not? Unregistered users can't see Gen D. So no worries about passer-by's as much as the other gay forum...

 

I've been driving for 13 years, never been to an inspection station yet.!!! Just hit every shop you can find in Paterson, you will find one that will do it

ive gotten a bunch of inspection violation tickets already, cant afford $126 once a week anymore.



i used to know 3 shops in paterson all for $100 or less, all 3 either dont do it anymore or chanegd managers
