I dont really like initial D, but i d/l act one yesterday for *****. It was decent

 

I could see teenagers getting all hyped by it. I have all 4 dvd's and enjoy them a lot. The story line is cool and in a way comical when you think about it.



I love the fact that this underdog is whipping everyone in a AE86. I love the fact that the kid couldn't care less about the pride and honor of street racing he just does it to do it. Maybe he does it moreso to put cocky people back in their place.



Its a fun cartoon the racing scenes are pretty cool to watch. I would watch this over Fast and Furious any day and its a cartoon.

 

I also have the collection......and think its a great series! Hopefully this is true about the 4th stage so we can see how this thing ends.

Yeah, I watched episodes 1-2 last night. very cool. Cars look better than ever. Animation looks better too.

 

I've got all the I.D. dvds it has stage 1,2,special stage (which is the story about the chicks in the sileighty) then the Initial D the movie. the movie picks up after stage 2 in that the dude in the FC is putting togather a racing team and asks takumi to join. he thinks about it all winter and races a few people gets back with the girl and takes him up on his offer. there is also a special racing stage dvd that just has the racing and none of the other stuff. if there is another one I'd like to have that too. anyone know for sure. and post a web page.
