everytime i open a page in nopistons, or click any link,



my virus blocker picks up some kind of infection..



anyone else getting this on their computer using internet explorer

 

IE is screwing up on me, I switched to netscape and no problem

 

same thing happenned when i openned nopistons in aol

 

I think maybe a previously banned member is a bit pissed off...?

 

Yes, Im getting it as well. Its malware (spyware) called bravesentry. It really messes with your registries and keeps duplicating and renaming itself, pain in the *** to get rid of. NoPistons NEEDS to address this problem ASAP.



Just do a search on google for bravesentry and you will get all kinds of info and by all means DO NOT go to bravesentry.com

it's supposedly being addressed, ipb forums all over the internet are having this issue.

 

and for the record i have been fighting this for the last two weeks.... ie no shoutbox, membermap, arcade, downloads section....

 

Try Previx1, probably one of the best malware removal tools out there. Its free but you will need to let it run alllllllllllll night. And after you do that try spybot - search and destroy. I always like to use a couple different spyware removal tools.

 

that isn't going to fix the hole in the forum software..... but thanks
