I assume you've all checked out the more detailed pics in the aus forum section...

It takes out the fun, but they can be bought like that fully restored and 13BT for about $10000 to $15000 (aus) .

i saw one for sale yesterday. similar color white, original looking interior. auto. straight body. ODO said just over 55k mile. was quiet as a hell. looked really, really sharp. he was only asking $15,000....

your mates car is awesome. are cars like that somewhat easy to find down under?? i wished i could move out there or NZ, i hear their cars are cheaper...
