Vosko,

It's only about 700 miles! Banzai is nearly that far. You went farther than that to pick up your TII.
Hell,... Atlanta is about 600 and I think thats close. I am still trying to figure out how to get to Indy.

The towing part is what made it suck.

I've driven to Daytona Beach, 21 hours straight with one guy in the car who took 3 hits of acid before we picked him up.

I drove my old car from Saskatchewan. 3 twelve hour days solo.

I intend to do the Sask. trip again next summer in my FD for my high school reunion in 24 hours.

Do it with a group of cars Cannonball Run style.

All of this bitching about driving makes me laugh. I drove 1150 miles to Rotorfest and then went back home that night...right after driving 2500 miles the previous weekend. It all depends on how much you want it.

At least next year I should have a co-driver.

Dan Mazella (Sevenstock/RotaryNews.com) said he wanted to drive his RX8 and he's in Vegas.

Reading that comment made my night. Unless you're referring to taking somebody else. In which case - I know where you live, dude...
