wanna really live on the edge? Use a 3/4" drive impact with a swivel at the end of a 6 inch extention. I had to use that setup on the last job... it kept the job... well....interesting.
yea impact swivels are just an accident waiting to happen, if the angle is anything more then like 5-10 degrees i just dont attempt it and instead move everything out of the way to get it straight on.

I hate those things i had one fly off and almost crack me in the head.
The knuckle does a better job then your father.
oh and one of the more fun things with impact guns is seeing people who are retarded putting standard sockets on a high-powered impact gun. once it blows into shrapnel everyone gets a good laugh...and one special person gets an ambulance ride.

The reason they lose power is because u lose most of the actual "impact hammer" force in the swivel itself.
Things on an impact wrench don't bother me as much as the air ratchets, i was working on a tug one time and was underneath, right above the diff removing a piece for the driveline brake and slammed my hand into the top of the floor, busted it up good.
