in social studies we have this as a project. i have to write a 200 word essay on the impact of the rotary from the 80's to now. i'm probably using the rx7 primarily considering they used it before the 70's right? anyway....anyone know any sites that i can use as resources.

thanx

just 200 words? shoot, you'll probably have a harder time condensing it then not having enough!

Correct. They did use rotaries in the late 60's. Check out www.vintagerotaries.com. There is some info there also, and pictures, and other things.

Yes, you will have a problem writing 200 words. Now if you had to write about the piston engine, you would have too much info. And how the hell did you land the part of getting to write about the rotary engine. There are also rotary based parts on construction equipment also believe it or not. The idlers use rotaries. Idlers=the thing that moves the tracks on excavators.

Good luck.

Rotary Engines have contributed to keeping many enthusiasts BROKE, due to mazda's exhorbitant parts pricing. Won't you help? For just pennies a day, your contributions will help supply urgently apex seals and housings to powerless Rotary Enthusiasts worldwide. The smile that these parts will bring to a broke Roatary Enthusiast's day is Priceless. Please Paypal donations to zach12@aikenelectric.net
