why doesnt it make sense that rotary is the replacement for displacement?



instead of some triple digit displacement we have a small double digit displacement proving you dont need a lot of displacement to make a lot of power, therefore we're the replacement for big displacement numbers, or in shorter form "the replacement for displacement", it just happens that we use turbo's, but a dedicated N/A person can make sick power too.

How on earth do you get rotaries as being the replacement for displacement? They're nicely packaged but they don't get terribly amazing VE, so wtf are you smoking? Even my coworkers would be like uhh shouldnt that be a turbo or a nitrous bottle, because that would actually be an accurate statement. I'd really enjoy wearing a hoody that promoted the forum but it's a pretty bad promotion piece when everyone I know with a clue about cars is going to be like hey whats nopistons.com? then shortly afterwards are laughing about the false statement, great way to scare away the intelligent ones.

The time for this to be argued was some time ago. The fact of the matter is, that's the way they are, you don't like it, don't order one. I am going to clean this topic up and let's try to stick with it. This topic is someone posting that their happy with the shirt......

Well then the forum is all idiots, it was a slogan picked by the forum members. I've actually gotten great feedback regarding the slogan from various others, you are the ONLY one to complain about it.



It's a slogan, get over it. It isn't mean to be analized, it's meant to advertise. Just like saying you make the best crackers, or the best chips in a can, it's an arguable statement. Or that your chips in a can are better then chips in a bag.



Personally, I think it's a pretty cool slogan. You might as well take it a step further and tear the whole forum apart. After all, I called it a Rotary Powered Forum, but it really isn't Rotary Powered. It's 2.4 Pentium powered. But I don't think that Nopistons.com the 2.4 gig Pentium, 1 gig ram powered forum is real catchy.



Seriously, get over it. We all voted on this TWO YEARS AGO when then license plate frames were ordered. Since then we have sold over 200 shirts and over 100 license plate frames and you are the ONLY one to raise a big stink.



It's a seriously easy issue to solve DO NOT BUY ONE.



I don't make **** for money off these, I do it to promote the forum, i do it cause people want them. I don't need this ****.



We did, actually open a topic up regarding a possible new design.... I saw nothing at that time regarding it.



After I sell the more then 200 shirts I have sitting in the office you can have your shot at input.



The reality of it is this: I gave up a VERY long time ago trying to please everyone, it's simply impossible to do, there's always someone bitching and there are times, when I say have $2,000 in t-shirts sitting on my floor, or when I stay up until 5 am on christmas day working on ****, etc, etc.... that is really gets under my skin. I shouldn't let it, but it does.
