I do that same stuff, someone comes by and is like "so what's new?" so I rave for an hour about my new track lighting, and how much the old track lighting sucked. The trick is to not care whether or not they're enjoying it, just enjoy your own pride-filled moment.

lmao yeah i found myself gardening a couple weeks ago, its scary

 

Here is what I did. You can see the outline of the old garden. It looked pretty bad because we never kept up with the weeds or even the plants we had. So I put down liner and bought mulch and redug the water garden making it almost swimmable.

 

Now whats wrong with being proud of doing yard work.



I built a fire pit in my friends back yard and I was showing everyone it when I was drunk that night.

 

I m old too l. I'll wait till they finish the replacement fence..Ill post a pic.
