I'm Having A Shitty Day
#1
6:30 this morning my cell phone rings, I answer it still half a sleep and see that it was my supervisor from work. Now I've known this guy for the past 2 years and we have always gotten along great. I consider him a friend. We knew each other before I took the job at the school and had worked together at the office depot. I even helped him recently on a couple things wrong with his truck. So I answer the phone and he's yelling and screaming. WHOA buddy whats the deal..... well aparantly I took a shortcut the other night when I was there by myself at 1am and fucked up a number on a tach and hobbs for an airplane. Doesn't really seem like that big of a deal to me considering there are about 60 planes I have to go through. Its just a matter of correcting it in the system and everyone is happy in a matter of minutes. So I get yelled at for a good 10 minutes over the phone and all I could really say was yeah I fucked up, cause it was the truth and no reason to lie about a mistake. Now I'm laying there awake and feel like **** about the situation because it seemed a little harsh to me. An hour rolls by of me laying there and its time to get up for school. Today I had an advanced aerodynamic test, first one of this class. Well I failed that bitch pretty hard. First test I've failed in the 2 years I've been here. Cost me 50 bucks to retake it next week sometime. And it wasn't like I was having emotional dificulties over my friend, I just didn't know half the **** on the test. My cell phone rings once I get home and its my buddy that gave me an *** chewing. Now he's apologizing for over reacting and ready to hang out and show me his brother's new ride.

******* Hobbs meters, always thinking they're so damned cool. The tach is where it's at, everybody knows that.
I worked as the sole A&P at a flight school for five years. I hate student pilots. It seemed like every time I installed a new tire, some dipshit on his first solo would land with the brakes on and get it into the cord a day later. I got to where I just left the wheel pants off because I had to work on the tires/brakes so often.
It's to the point now that if I never see another Cessna I'll be happy. Except Cardinals, ooohhh I love the Cardinals. And the 421. But that's it.
