I'm Gonna Miss My Baby
#1
So I made a deal with the painter at my work. He's painting my car and doing all body work / shaving handles etc etc for dirt cheap
on one condition
I give him my SG.. I didn't want to give her up but I've wanted a new guitar for a while now.. Saving the money on the paint job will bring me that much closer to a new guitar in the summer.
But still.
I will miss her. I've had it for so long..
(that's an SG, not my SG though)

that sucks. i could never part with #1, in fact its the only possesion i care about
I had a stratocaster before.. But like a year later I got my SG, and I've had my SG since I was like 14 or 15.. And I'm almost 20 now..
I've written songs on it and **** and jammed at highschool with it with a few friends who play drum bass and 6 string..
soo many memories.
My brother used to have an Epiphone Del Rey, he had it when I was about 17, and he let me play it, I loved it. He said it was a little over $1000 bucks, I don't know if they still make them anymore, but that guitar amazed me. I want one of those.
But like I say I haven't been guitar shopping in forever because oh how I love my SG.

sucks, man. but look at what you're getting!
The sax I "grew up" on is a serious out-of-tune piece of ****. I'd sell it and get a new one, but I can't bring myself to spend $4,000 for replacing one that cost $800.
