Lol....you should have been able to tell in how it drove that the pressures were that screwed! Some people say to go by the pressure recommended in your manual or on the tag inside your doorframe instead of whats on the tire. The tire reading is a max for the tire and may not be correct. I say play around with it and find where you like the performance best. Somewheres around 35-40 is to my liking.

1gen- thats probably good to go by if you have original tires

Ford told people what to fill the Firestones on the Explorer and look

what happened to them,lol
