Disclaimer: this is one of those pointless personal posts, that more or less helps me get my thoughts prioritized. Not a complaint.

So my in-laws left us the house, and they moved out (quite some time ago). But they had always paid the utilities, leaving me to pay the phone, cable, garbage, all the other stuff. So we're sitting at their house last night, and my father-in-law says "oh, there's your bill." That's it. So now I pay water and electricity too. It's technically still their house, we're just living in it and paying all the bills.

Now I get to do all the stereotypical dad stuff, like turn down the thermostat, and run around behind people turning off lights!

I'm okay with it, I just wish I had some warning, otherwise I wouldn't have gone and bought some stuff recently. Now I'm left with like $300 for our Minnesota trip. 23mpg, $2 a gallon, how many miles to MN?

Good luck getting funding for MN together. When are you coming up again? Ed and I were thinking about driving up to hang out for a bit...

I'm not sure of the exact day, but sometime this weekend. My brother and his g/f from MN are here now, and I'm not sure what day they want to go back. But we're definitely leaving here sometime between Friday afternoon and Monday morning.
