Well I am used to the jokes already. I want to fly the planes. And the nuclear program advances me faster. Its alot of schooling but I start out as an E-3 so its all good. E-5 by the time my schooling is over.



Also I get to chose which craft I want to go on. So far I am leaning towards ship since I don't think the subs surface in other ports.





And about the women. Who the hell joins the military for women anyhow? Besides....you should see the chicks that I enlisted with. Hot as hell. Only 1 ugly one. 2 really hot ones.

If you want to fly planes you need to be an officer. So youll have to go to college any way.

 

jt-imports what kinda experience you need for the job i worked on aircraft but on the weapons systems, I aint staying i cant stand the air force.

As far as choosing your craft: You have three "preferences:

Nuke MM, Nuke ET, Nuke EM



Nuke MM: Nuclear Machinist Mate: You run the Engine Room and Auxilliary Spaces. Equipment operated: Steam Plant, Condensate System, Feed System, AC Plants, Distilling Equipment.



Watch Progression: Engine Room Lower Level->AMR2ll->Engine Room Upper Level->Engine Room Supervisor=>Engineering Watch Supervisor



Pro's: Turn Wrenches, get to wander around a lot.

Con's: Refit is a bitch, always need to support another divisions work, diving bilges





Nuke ET: Nuclear Electronics Technician, AKA "Twidget". You Operate the Reactor Control System. Lots of calibrating of Electronics Systems.



Watch Progression: AEA Aux Electrician Aft->AMR2UL->ThrottleMan->Reactor Operator=>Engineering Watch Supervisor



Pro's: Lots of ancient electronics to maintain
