[quote name='Rob x-7' date='Jun 22 2005, 10:32 PM']Like a mazda is any better?

you would rather buy a 3 year old M3 then a brand new with warranty G35 coupe??

g35 has incredible resale and reliability that far surpasses BMW.

My friend has a BMW/Benz specialty repair shop, he has a steady flow of new customers that buy BMWs or Benzes, usually younger kids who want to impress others. The look of shock on thier faces when they find out how much the parts and the amount of labor thier precious status symbols need is priceless.

God forbid you want to take the car to the dealer, get one bad coil pack or injector and they change them all, get 3 codes on the scanner and all 3 sensors get changed without them trying one at a time to see if it sets off the others.

Many of the cars sit for weeks while the customer scrounges up his pennies to fix the car.

You can have your BMW, but it had better have a warranty to cover the repairs and you had better hope you dont void the warranty by modifying the car or even not having the reccomended BMW specific oil that M3s like to gulp in great amounts

You hit the nail on the head. I work on mercedes all day. Mercedes and BMW are all the same, parts are ******* rediculous. Maintenance is ******* rediculous. It wouldn't be that bad for me since I work on them, but for anyone else is could get expensive QUICK. Thats why I bought an 04 G35 coupe a few months ago.
