We had a great trip, covered over 400 miles, managed to do it on about 30 gallons of diesel (we sailed most of the trip). The Gulf Stream was a bit unfriendly on the return trip, but we made good time.

Good job sailing Phins! If you did 400 miles using fuel, how much would you use? I don't know **** from putty when it comes to sailing.

i would have prolly used 150 gallons if it were under engine power.

Actually it's my understanding many ships carry sound cannons now to ward off attacks.
