To be honest if we had a kid I would not send him or her to Florida public schools, I think about the only thing I would expect him to learn in Florida public schools is racism.
He's also developing racial stereotypes, because if the majority of the kids in his class do something, he assumes that's what all black people do.
Luckily we haven't hear any mention of these issues after the first week of school, so I dunno. Maybe he just got to know all his classmates better.

Did I already post here about that? How my son, on the first day of school, said he felt dumb because he was white (he's one of 2 white kids in his class of 18).

Oh, haha, stupid websense block nopistons. You need to fix that. It's inhibiting my excess posting abilities.
Did I post about the "The mailman don't work on Labor Day" thing he brought home? It was a pic of a mailman that they colored, with that phrase written above it. The phrase was obviously hand-written, then copied. Not sure if it was the teacher or someone else who made the sheet, but we eventually decided not to bring it up with the teacher. Too much potential for **** hitting the fan.
The mail mAn...don't...work on Labor Day. The wife and I had about a 30 minute bitch fest about that one.

Oh I'd have been up in that bitch I'd have been at his school the next morning. They don't even teach Cursive writing in washington schools anymore. I dunno about florida, as far as i can tell they barely teach english here, i doubt they get to cursive.
