Exactly! People are not sufficiently qualified to teach their children, own a gun, or work on a car. Government can do it better. Just give us all your money, and we will spend it, since you will spend it foolishly.

I've met a lot of homeschooled kids in the cruising/liveaboard section of society, most of these kids can carry on a conversation at 12 years old that is more interesting then the convo's I have 50 year olds around here. They know about the world, politics, events, etc....
