ok looking from driver fender to top of my engine.



to the left of the oil filter there is a round thing no the top of one of the plates with a nipple type connection coming out if it, i have nothing connected there and im thinking it may be the cause of my possible oil leak.



help quick.

I think you're referring to the nipple on the intermediate housing, in the photograph above it has a black emissions hose connected to it sticking out to the right and just ending abruptly (has been cut in the photo). It's the second nipple down pointing towards the rear of the engine if you look at the oil filler neck and move down. Theres one nipple on the filler neck and the one you're referring to is the next one which goes into the intermediate right by where the filler tube goes into the intermediate housing.



Right?



if so, it's crankcase ventilation, you likely want to connect that to the charcoal canister, via the hard tube that runs along the firewall over to the canister.





Note/edit: this is a NA engine in the photograph, your filler tube will look different. But the intermediate has the same nipple.

 

here's a pic of where the top is, it connects to the charcoal canister? does oily/gas fluid come out if it?

it vents gasses from the crankcase, oil and gas vapours are to be expected... it goes to the charcoal canister so it can deal with the vapours safely and without icky odors.

 

pussies and your canisters...

 

well the only line running to my canister i think goes directly to the fuel tank cause it goes towards the brake master area then dives down and through the trans tunnel.



oh and bigturbo part of todays work was canister removal .
