I Want To Buy This Rx-7

Hey this is an RX-7 my friend told me about. I been waiting for him to go and see the car, its been like 3 weeks so i got tired of waiting and finally got the location of the car. I went to talk to the owner and i struck a deal with him.
This is waht ive found so far.
1989 GXL , GTU ? its a n/a with t2 mirrors.
over 100K on the body
NO major body damage.
Very Dirty
5 speed
Car doesnt run, the guy doesnt know **** about cars, the car has a carb setup that this guy around my way did. SO i think its flooded and he doesnt know how to fix it. So the motor may be goood
Now this is the best part.
The car is being sold to me for $200. To be honest im getting it anyways. Just wanted to hear some ideas.
Originally me and my friend were going to strip it for parts. I was going to get the transmission and everything else...he was going to take the "Blown Motor", this is waht he told me.....
But after seeing it , i dont want to destroy a rx7 to give mines life.

nm the car looks like a beater and would probably not be good for anything other than parting out or going full race.

well thats the problem. My g/fs dad said i can use the garage in Valley Stream Long island that his son is not using. Now i just gotta get it towed to LI. Which might cost as much or even more than what i bought the car for. So what i was thinking was to fix my rx7, keep the auto, park the rx7 outside and leave this black FC in the yard where my current FC is

so i should part it out then..and take the tranny for me, and then i can use the engine as a practice table...
