i think i'm gonna buy a SMC 802.11A wireless access point. i have a couple of laptops so it would be cool to be able to go online where i want in my house not that there aren't 20+ comps in my house



802.11A is 54Mbps and up to 1650 FT..... i just need to buy some bridges and put them in people's houses and i could charge for wireless access LOL

A friend of mine has the siemens 802.11b and it kicks ***! The 802.11a would be sick!

 

i have wireless dsl in my house. its ******* cool, veing able to be on the internet anywhere.

 

i have wired ethernet everywhere! really had no need to spend a few hundred bucks on wireless.... i got it cheap so why not

 

I wish the people in the townhouses across the field from us had highspeed internet and 802.11 so I could get faster then this )*#@&$(*@&#($& ISDN line



If it was full speed ISDN I probably wouldn't care so much but this 80k really sucks

 

I have wireless at my parents on my old dsl, where I work on my cars too... It's nice to be able to use the laptop in the garage or yard and still be able to IRC
