get a blown S5 TII. get 20B. get E11. give 20B to judge ito. have him bridgeport it and make a header. have a 20B bridgeport N/A with like 400hp.... now that would be awesome https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

kahren 02-17-2003 02:32 PM

good idea

DJ Rotor 02-17-2003 02:34 PM

go for it!

How much $$$$ are you looking at for a project like that? A 20b A/A would last forever tho :yum:

Srce 02-17-2003 02:36 PM

Didn't you say you'd stay away from the 20B?

vosko 02-17-2003 02:40 PM

it would cost the same as a S5 TII with an upgraded turbo and all that but it would be way more reliable. no more worrying about hoses popping, overboosting, and you can rev to 11k rpm https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

vosko 02-17-2003 02:41 PM

when i saw project i mean sometime EVENTUALLY. not anytime soon. i'd rather have that than a FD.... think about the torque!

j9fd3s 02-17-2003 02:45 PM

yah that would be cool, ive thought about that too. i was gonna start with just a header though...

mike

kahren 02-17-2003 02:50 PM

i saw pettits FD dyno chart and it has about the same numbers down low as a stock FD

i donno if the modified twins spool up realyl late or if the 3 rotor is not all it is thgouth to be

i expected more

it a little of both, the twins (non sequential) dont really get going until 3000-3500rpms

mike

kahren 02-17-2003 02:56 PM

all teh non sequentical twins ive seen on paper dotn get goign till about 4-4.5k rpms which really blows, since a small single woudl spool up WAY before that and make more power

Geoffman72 02-17-2003 03:14 PM

You bastard! You took my unrealistic project! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/angry.png https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

vosko 02-17-2003 03:19 PM

lmao

setzep 02-17-2003 07:27 PM

oh com-on now... you know you would end up boosting it :squint: Turbos and rotaries are like **** and stink https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

vosko 02-17-2003 07:31 PM

bridgeporting makes up for the turbo. come on how rare is a 20B bridgeported FC. you only see that **** in japan!

r_xplicit 02-17-2003 07:33 PM

i think that a custom made 4 rotor would be more of a project for you V, and then shove that bitch into a 1st gen....or a repu.....that would be cool.....and very original....

vosko 02-17-2003 07:34 PM

everyone likes spending other people's money LOL

setzep 02-17-2003 07:39 PM

As long as we are spending your $ hell!!.... hmmm how about one of those 6 rotors in a cosmo? and throw on 3 turbos. Hell it's only $ https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png You could pull your FD to the strip with it :bigthumg:

Geoffman72 02-17-2003 07:49 PM

4 rotor wouldnt even fit. Now how about a peri port four rotor in a 26' Donzi? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Apex13B 02-17-2003 08:56 PM

**** that put the 4 rotor in a talbot darraq

94touring 02-17-2003 08:59 PM

Would noise become a problem on that thing? Sounds like a cool idea though, go for it :bigthumg:

I was really close to buying a datson 510 to either do 3rotor or just a regular 13b a couple years back, wish I would have bought the car, maybe someday.

teknics 02-17-2003 08:59 PM

4 rotor + moped = god.

Leetheslacker 02-17-2003 09:53 PM

moped?

http://xracing.brinkster.net/images/turbos.jpg

teknics 02-17-2003 10:03 PM

yes well a 4 rotor at least has a minimal chance of going in a moped, it would NEVER fit your puny scooter :P

kevin.

ChainSawOnSteroids 02-17-2003 10:32 PM

that moped owns all

Leetheslacker 02-17-2003 10:47 PM

yes it does.

ThirdGenRX7 02-18-2003 10:42 AM

Travisty 02-18-2003 10:52 AM

how bout a 20b for the front and a 20b for the back..

Rob x-7 02-18-2003 01:05 PM

Is it a rule that Ito must always house a Mazda for you? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/v1.gif

j9fd3s 02-18-2003 01:08 PM

i think its more of a guidline

mike

75 Repu 02-18-2003 01:11 PM

Slap a 20b in the Blazer, and supercharge it.. the stick some 40Inch swampers on it and a 8" lift..

vosko 02-18-2003 01:16 PM

we dont' have policies at work anymore. they are now referred to as "guidelines" LOL

Travisty 02-18-2003 01:20 PM

now thats what i'm talkin about.

75 Repu 02-18-2003 01:26 PM

Hell, that would kick ass, there are supposed to be a couple of Rotary powered cars in those rackcawling competitions.. and I heard they do real well...

Travisty 02-18-2003 01:34 PM

you wouldnt think so having low torque numbers but thats cool as hell anyway.

those competitions are pretty bad ass.

i would love to have an old CJ with a 350 in it and a crazy lift. a winch too

75 Repu 02-18-2003 01:42 PM

Yeah those competitions look pretty cool.. Lifted truck are nice, when we go casmping those with capapble cars/trucks get the good spots.. and then you can go trail riding too.. its fun, I remember go out there in my bro's landcruiser, stock 1996.. That **** does real good, except we bent the **** out the floor boards , but oh well.. Damn rocks..
