I stopped by a BMW dealer on Sunday to check out the Mini for my GF, they were closed though. People cant help but smile when they see a mini! Being as its registered as a 1970, can you get classic insurance for it? And was it hard to get a loan for it being as its registered as a 1970?
Yes I have it under classic insurance, cost me about $200 a year and I don't pay taxes on it. I had no problems getting it financed through my credit union, but I have perfect credit and money to back me up.

Don't get the new BMW mini's confused with the true austin mini's. The new mini's are cool as hell, but there is a big difference between the two. Austion Cooper closed shop after Dave Cooper died, and so did the mini. Then BMW came out with their version.

They had a loaded S model, supercharger, suspension, all kinds of ****, leather, nav system maybe?, big *** sunroof, mettalic paint, and it was $24,000. Car is nice, I checked them out at the auto show as well. Is the original mini much smaller?

The US mini was a Morse Minor or something like that correct?

A guy up the road from me has one that is a left hand drive and a right hand drive. I see his son driving the right hand all the time.

I seen that topic, that shows the dash, but not the instrument cluster, i was curious as to what the RPM redline was on the tach, I guess I could just ask that question and be done with it.
