Well moved back to parents place after i finished university. 4 Long hard years and no job after a degree in engineering physics, no money. So i had to move back home.

I hate it. I've already been through 5 fights/quarals with parents and i've been home for less then a week.

Nice.

I need to get a job. It's nice to know that 20,000 dollars spent on an education can't even get me my own place. So instead i owe 20,000 (thank god for some scholarships) and i live at home.

Yah!

So much fun.

My parents pretty much leave me a lone. It is the same as whenI was away at school. Well I have home cooked meals now.

What internships did you complete and what is your final GPA?

Hang in there man...I'm in the same boat. Except when I finished school I got a job not far from my parents house. So it would have been stupid to rent my own place when I could save so much living with them.

When my gf graduates it will be another story, lol

I also lived on my own for 4 years while in school...dorm for 1 year...then apartment for 3. Damn I miss those days...hanging out with your fucked up roomates during the week...and then partying on the weekends...going for some car cruises through town and the backroads...Now I can't even remember the last time I "partied" haha.

But in all honesty...yes living back with the parents can suck...but dude if you find a job where you can live at home you will save soooooooo much money. For instance: My co-worker...who is also a designer has been working one year longer than me...so he's at 3 years total. He makes 5K a year more...but has to pay 800/month rent + utilities, food, etc, and other "on your own" stuff. He's not a big spender at all...neither am I. I've been working for 1.5 years and have more than triple in my bank account...all thanks to living at home. Not that "money is everything"...but if you are trying to save and pay back those loans...living at home can be an advantage.

I dunno though...if I was single maybe I would be looking for a place...to attract chicks to my pad

i was suppose to go work for nuclear safety solutions but i got hung out to dry. They had 400 applications and they hired a Masters candiate.

I worded as Nuclear Design Engineer at ontario power generation 1st summer, 2nd summer i worked as Nuclear safety research and design for Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station, 3rd summer i worked for Nuclear safety solutions as systems analyst for nuclear control system systems.

I thought i had a job lined up with Altair engineering doing Adams/Car modeling of suspension systems and virtual protyping of internal combustions engines in troy michigan but it has been almost 3 weeks since the last interview and ihaven't heard **** all.

All in all i shuld've started my own survey company in california.
