First - Thanks for letting me drive your car MD. I was all excited as I have driven it at a driving school last year when my brother owned it. I told him to be ready for a day of fun in that car. When he asked me if I wanted to take it for a spin I got excited I knew I was about to have the most fun of the day.
I did a couple of grip laps then turned her loose. But first the grip laps. That car turns so good its unnerving. I was in my Mini that day and its handling is nothing short of amazing. Then I got into his GXL. It blows my mind how hard that car can corner. You can charge at the turns and blast right through them. If you came in too hot and its understeering, blip the throttle and induce a little oversteer hit the paex and punch it and hang on as she digs in and pulls out of the turn making you dizzy in the process.
Then I decided to drift it a little. It was so balanced and controlable I was drifting it through the autocross course with ease it was no problem to snap it around for a curve transition. It was so much fun that when we stopped I got out of the car laughing my *** off.
Any of you guys that have N/A's and are not Autocrossing them, Shame on you.
