i have NEVER had a problem out of nextel. except one time, somehow I did not pay a bill, when it showed on bank statements that I did. it was resolved within 24 hours. i would say i am one happy camper with nextel. i have never had a call dropped. i have received a funky signal when I am way down in the boonies, but I expected that to happen.

i think most cell companies have gotten pretty good.. but from what i've seen, sprint is the worst.

I had my phone in my pocket, bumped against something, and cracked the front screen all to hell (the front screen is the only screen, it swivels open). I've only had it a month, after I had an insurance claim for losing it (fell out of my pocket on the motorcycle). Hopefully this next one lasts longer.

LONG STORY



So "their" antenna broke.Freind says so go get a new one for $25.00.



Sales ***:"U need a new phone"



Me: "this phone works I dont wont to JB you faulty antenna in!"



***:"too bad"



Me : "god damn bull ****"



***:"Policy".......



Me: I leave store and lose the tip now I HAVE TO GET A NEW PHONE....



New ***: OK you will use your insurance and you need to pay $50. deduct."



Me: "you BS-ing me, right?"



New ***:"No"



Me: "Your design broke!,You use to fix for $25.00 now you dont .Now I have to get a new phone AND use my insurance in which I pay in case I break this $300.00 ****?So what happens if I DO break this new one within the year?



New ***: "You can get a new one.....for FULL PRICE out of pocket."



So I have no choice and give shitty phone back , disconnect by verbal authorisation to the "Atlanta" office.



New ***: "Ok, lets talk bout your new plan."



Me:"What new plan? I have a plan."



New ***:"You were on a special thats over anyway."



Me REALLY PO'd: "Ok give me my damn phone back" As I get up to leave the New *** says,"Phone wont work."



Me in disblief:"wtf you talking about?"



New ***:The Atlanta phone call cancled your activation.We wont go back unless you get new plan"



I WALK OUT...too many witnesses.

My manager went back and got my newphone using MY insurance and a new plan!



I now can guess what dick in the *** feels like.... absolutly true CINGLULAR phone stoory.



Other phone companies coverage suck here in swampland and offshore ...otherwise I would have gone elswhere.

I feel violated and needed to get some help. ***********.

Although the service was better then AT&T, I still never have a problem getting new, free phones out of Cingular. You have to just give them the ole' "you give new customers free phones but a customer you have for x amount of years has to pay?"
