so you have to have like a vcr or some recording device in your car to hook the camera up to for it to work? then you have to run the wire from the "recorder" to the actual camera?

"NOTE: This Camera outputs standard analog video. This is not a digital camera. We have not seen good results using computer based cameras that hook up to the USB port, such as your typical "Internet" camera. Normally those cameras are pretty low resolution to save bandwidth. The ConeCam is similar to the camcorder, but requires an external recording device such as a VCR or a Camcorder to plug into. that would be a great investment. all i would need is the 2 mounts and one of those nifty little cameras. i could have used one today when i had the sheriff's dept. on my ***. then i could start me own get away in stockholm video.....
