what do i need to do to a file to burn it onto a dvdr so i can play it in a dvd player



i just downloaded a movie off kazaa and im testing out my new dvdrw and i dont know what to do to get the movie to play... like i gotta burn it first, but what files or type of files do i need to make it compatible

Its not just like burning a CD-r and putting it in a cd player?? If not then I am screwed cause I know nothing about computers....

 

Requires some sort of dvd burner software to format the file so it can be read.. My Bro has some crap like that.. I will have to ask him..

 

i have nero dvd burner..but its not working right
