3rd gen = black hole

2nd gen = toilet

that is bascially how the money goes for these two cars.

I would be very careful dude...if its REALLY REALLY what you want...then go for it

is the vert your one and only means of reliable transportation? and that would get sold for an $10,000 FD? do you have money set aside "in case" stuff goes wrong with the FD? not saying it would...but usually i've seen FD's in good shape go for 13-16K...soooooooo, what shape would a 10K one be in?

Yeah i figured that for 10,000 it would have some problems but the verts going to have problems soon too? so whats the difference if im fixing a na or 3rd gen( besides price). Im probably going to go look at the car some time soon to see what kind of shape its in. I've been thinking about this really hard. I think seeing a black fd today is a sign that i should get it. It was the second one ive ever seen so its a sign that i should buy. :bigthumg:

Just don't settle for something your not 100% comforatable with. I looked at several fd's before I found the perfect one for me.

Well i've finished doing all my research and decided that ill take the fd if its in good condition. :bigok: Now i just have to find a buyer for my vert, which btw is in excelent condition. Im trying to see if my freind will buy it last time i checked he was still looking for a 7. Anyway i started looking at prices for stuff and the rebuilding the engne would cost the same whitch both cars are going to probably need. I think the vert could hold out a while though, last time i checked compresion it was 115 both rotors. If i get the fd ill probably do a few mods to it(nothing big) and then eventualy get a rebuild done. Im not to up on 3rd gen stuff i guess ill have to start paying closer aention to the 3rd gen section.
