Shoot it. But do it right. My grandfather had many run-ins with skunks trying to kill his chickens. He usually won in the end, but paid the price many times. If it's out in the yard, you at least have some room to maneuver. Indoors, you're screwed.



Grandpa's pick: 12-gauge, no choke, short barrel, #4 shot. I think you should use bigger shot though. #00 gives you 15 pellets, if I recall, #000 only 9.
