"Poignantly contrary to what was expected or intended"
I'd say using "your" instead of "you're" is quite contrary to the intended meaning of calling someone else retarded, which in itself is ironic, which is the point of the whole picture.
I just thought pointing it out would be silly, and I thought others would assume I knew better...oh well...
