Where would be a good place to look for those for sale? I've tried autotrader but all the vtec ones have had headers or exhaust so i'm afraid they're beaters and all the other ones are S coupe's which i def dont want.

well i had an si model. i had koni struts and groud control shocks, and a catback exhaust, and no lie i pulled a 15.1 at the track....vtec eat your heart out. probably the best handling FWD car i have ever driven, minimal understeer, and tourqe steer. a very fun car to own.

G60s are interesting. I was one of "those VW guys" for awhile.
The G60 supercharger is known for dying every 60k miles, but .. that leaves ample opportunity to slap a turbo set up on, for an engine that already made for boost. But that "potential" comes at a price.

If you can get over some of the shoddy design (which I couldn't), drive a FWD car (which I won't), and drive a low output motor in a car that usually feels like it's about to fall apart (which I've done enough of) while feeling cramped and claustrophobic - the a Corrado's good car for you.

But you're not missing much if you don't drive a VW. They're the Ford of Germany.
