Yeah, got lost a few times, probably totaling between 2 and 3 hours. Got a speeding ticket.

Drove through Alligator Alley, lots of fires, pretty freaky as the sun set. Had my first meal at 11 pm that day.

Went up the west coast, Bradenton, Tampa, headed towards Orlando. Just got back from Pensacola, real nice area over there, that was the first time I actually saw a beach on this whole trip.

I think I'm going to start applying at other jobs. I haven't been here long enough to get a full paycheck yet, but that trip sucked enough for me to not want to do it again (supposed to be done every 6 months). Plus I'm curious as to how much more $$$ I can get with this degree.

that stuff is cool when you're a tourist, but i can see how if you were trying to get somewhere it would suck

I know! I drove right by the exit, but if I stopped it would've thrown off my way-too-tight schedule. I used a schedule from a previous employee, but it turned out that I had to visit more locations than she did, so that sucked.

But if I stick with this job, I have to do this every 6 months, so I plan to loosen up the schedule a bit. I could work in some visit time next trip.

Congrats on the accomplishments.

well going down 41 or 75 was your first problem ... those roads suck and all the tourist take them . 27 is the way to go and it dumps out right in homestead . even the turnpike sucks ands US 1 takes forever .

I actually didn't have any traffic problems, aside from downtown Miami (unavoidable, I had to make a few stops there). Turnpike was wide open, used the Sunpass paid for by the agency.
