Yea that is the law here as well.
I told him I had no insurance cause he told me he was going to write me a ticket for a moving violation, that would go on my record if I did not beat it in court. So I gave him a higher dollar ticket.. the insurance ticket, but all I have to do it mail proof of insurance and $25.00 and it won't be on my record.
