Wink

**** my pos 88 blazer, and hello to my 96 blazer

(DEALER AD) Anyone looking for an absolutely stunning , pristine , and 100% mechanically sound 1996 GMC Jimmy SLE 4 door 4x4 for the price of a used Hyundai ? For those of you that value maintanance , condition , and care of a vehicle THIS SUV IS FOR YOU ! Other than a few stone chips on the front of the hood this SUV looks like it just came off the show room floor . This one owner vehicle is all original and has never been in an accident , had any paint work , etc ... The documented service history is monumental ,and you will not believe your eyes when you see how well and how much money was spent to maintain this SUV including nearly new Michelin XC LT4 tires . ANYTHING that was ever needed was replaced or repaired . Equipped with all the options including : 4 x 4 (on the fly) , privacy glass , overhead console , roof rack , air conditioning , alloy rims , rear cargo cover and more . Plus the usual goodie group : power / brakes , windows , steering , mirrors , etc ...

I got it from a dealership where I know the owner. he was asking $5900, but gave it to me for $4600. This thing is super super clean, runs great, no rust, no leaks.

The best part is there is a 2inch thick folder of all the work ever done to it. This thing has been maintined like a ferrari!

perhaps, but when you consider how bulletproof they are, the cost of repairing a Toyota is outweighed by the frequency of repairs on a Chevy.

And the high initial investment pays for itself when you turn around and sell it, as the resale value is very high on 4Runners.

That having been said, congrats on your new truck! (for real, I'm not being a smartass )

a buddy of mine bought a brand spanking new chevy malibu. Since he knows nothing about cars and doesn't want to ever have to work on it he bought the extended warranty.

1 month after owning it the check engine light comes on, so he takes it to the certified chevrolet dealership that he bought it from to have them check it out. When he goes to pick it up.

Mechanic :: Well it seems that the gas tank vent hose was chewed through by a mouse or small rodent. This is a common problem with these cars, I've seen a couple myself. The plastic pipe needs to be replaced, but the problem is, is the pipe is made together with the fuel pump assembley. So it all has to be replaced. Parts and labor will be $981 dollars.

My friend :: I don't care, just fix it, it's under warranty.

Mechanic :: Oh yeah, well the fact that this was done by a rodent, and not technically a manufactures defect, or failure, it's considered an act of god. So it's not covered by your warranty.

My friend :: @#$@#%!$%$##$%! Put it back together and give it back to me. I'll drive it until it defects.

LOL.

True story, kindof off topic, but I thought it was ironic, how no matter how well you think your have yourself setup in a car. Someone, or something will find a way to **** you right in the goat ***.

Good luck with the truck btw!!
