Yes I have been there and done that, it really depends on what you are looking at. Most charter guys i have talked to said they wouldnt do it any differently and love it. You are still on the water, spending other people's gas money so if you truly love being on the water and have to make a living then it's a safe bet. only time will tell

Man I just got back from 6 days on the water, through storms and rediculously low tides and unbelievable heat and I was supposed to go out tomorrow and Friday on this guys boat with paying customers, I was fairly apprehensive as I haven't even seen the boat, it's 52 feet. He ended up cancelling because I felt apprehensive, but I am pretty sure i am still in the door, I think i basically have the job if i want it.
