you can even go to a simple AAA course, 4-6 hours, 2 points instantly off your license.

i did the mandatory driving school (once you get 4 points in under 2 years of driving in nj gotta go to defensive driving or whatever it was for 4 hours) which removed 3 of my 4 points, then im going to AAA to get the remaining 1 point taken off.

then i wait a couple hundred years while driving normal and maybe my insurance will go down $5, **** nj.

Yup.

I got a $275 ticket for doing 30 over limit. I was tired thta night and should NOT have been driving.

I went to DMV, told them i was gonna take course - they give you roughly 3 months or so to finish , got ticket reduced to $235, took the Florida online driving course, and my 2 pts or 4pts whatever it was was off my license.

My first ticket... ever. In the 3½ years I've been driving - I did pretty good ....

All you can hope to do is plea bargain with the DA. They usually give you a good break on your first offense though.

Ok, i'm sorry, but lying is completely stupid - you will never learn your lesson, you're gonna think it's right, and probably do it again.

I really don't see the point of NOT telling the truth, you'll get more damn respect that way when you do tell the truth.....unless you are **** to lying!

i guess NJ males have different views than the Floridian gals.....i still say lie, christi who cares what the court thinks? most cops are a bunch of losers who get off on pulling over kids

i only respect a few suburban cops, but i give my utmost respect to city cops...they actually have a purpose since a city has so many areas and so many people and so much problems that can happen....suburban cops just wait in dark areas and pull over people...ive gotten pulled over 3 times in NJ suburbs (1 - going 52 in a 45 holy **** arrest me - 2- carelesss driving and not signaling in a right turn only lane .... 3 - "loud exhaust" (on my mr2)) the judge laughed at the first ticket and just made me pay the fine, the 2nd i paid the fine for the signal and lied out of the careless drift i pulled, and the third i got dismissed ....and ive only gotten pulled over once in NYC (because my rear tail lights were out and it was at night - he was helping me....i checked the fuses and replaced with a spare - the cop said have a nice night and i went on my way)

therefore i dont really care what most suburban cops think...or the court...its all a buncha crap

and learning a lesson would be true if a person was going 80 in a 25....120 in a 50...etc....or doing donuts on a highway....thats foolish....but kicking the rear out a little bit is not dangerous when under control like kevin said before....

im done ranting...

Get a lawyer, pay them $150. They will take care of it. I get a volume discount, $125 a ticket. Save drivers education for a big one that you cant deal out of and don't listen to Rotory Rocket, he's been sniffing paint fumes for too long.

actually i agree with christi...im an NJ male...

i just dont agree with the reasons we get pulled over, but i dont go to court and lie. if you get the police respect and the respect of the DA and judge, if you ever return they will remember you, and that is a good thing, if they remember you because your story was "fishy" then you're focked.

You are a complete Idiot. I am glad I don't live there. You seem like a careless driver by the way you talk about ****. At any rate, quit freaking sterotyping cops. They ARE NOT BAD. If you EVER volenteered with a cop, on one of their shifts, they just don't go look for people (or kids for this matter) to be pulled over. Why do we have speed limits then? So kids, like yourself, can lie out of their way because they can not follow the rules? HA! Good luck there kiddo, you're gonna need it.

and learning a lesson would be true if a person was going 80 in a 25....120 in a 50...etc....or doing donuts on a highway....thats foolish....but kicking the rear out a little bit is not dangerous when under control like kevin said before....

THIS statement right here is BULL honky! You are just stupid. I have nothing else to say - You only have one thought on your mind, and one only. It will not change either. Good luck trying to tell up another "lie" to the court. As they do remember you, whether or not you've been in there once or twice. Considering you've been there 3 times. .. I know damn well you have NOT learned your lesson.

Drifting, speeding, cornering hard, etc should be delt on a autocross course, or rally course of some sort. NOT A FERAKING PUBLIC road. Whether or not the road is filled with people, or on a road that hasn't been used in 15 years.

But whatever, have fun lying. No wonder why our insurance is so raised up because of people like you thinking the world revolves around lying - and expect to "lie" you "learn" your lesson. No wait, did you not say "learning a less would be doing 125 in a 50...etc" Right. you're right......

i have never gotten an more points added to my license....and ive only had to pay 79 dollars in tickets.....im not a careless driver....from the way i said it ive only done 1 thing careless which was a little drift, i dont think 52 in a 45 is really careless....tell me you have never gone over the speed limit, ever go 70 on a 55 highway? no? yea right....and youve never cut a corner hard?

obviously you are a careless driver then since you have had a 270 dollar ticket knocked down to 235 in court....i think going 30 over the limit is a little more "careles" than my faults....

its not really a stereotype - as i said most - not all, i respect the ones that are true to their job and not ******, because you see those ***** cops putting on their lights all the time and running through red lights, just to beat the traffic....if youve never seen this then i dont know whats with ur town but i see it all the time...they abuse their privileges....its not right...i dont really care anymore about this thread, if you want to yell at me and try to teach me a lesson Ms. Christi go ahead, and youre like 20 why are you the driving god
