After all my dealings with Sony, they eventually pleased me thouroughly, in more ways than one. Nice choice the Wega's are definately very nice tv's.

NICE!!!! Wegas are great quality, only drawback is they weigh a ton!

Lucky you, and good choice on the TV. I purchased my Sony 50" WEGA two weeks ago. Its been a blast since then. Here is a pic. Also got the Sony dream audio system to go with the lot.

I always wanted the 60 but found it to be a bit large for my viewing distance, my room is like 14x24 or something like that, so I sit about 8' from the tv, I was going to get the 50, but then were coming out with this 55" with that kick *** cabinet with the speakers suspended off the sides and my prayers were answered!

Same here on the viewing distance, so I had to get the 50". You won't be disappointed in the TV though but good choice I love mine and I know you will love the 55".
