so um if we outspend the next most expensive country (its germany actually) by 1.5 times, and are SICKER than how does spending 3x more than the germans fix anything?



that's like putting too much hot sauce on something and then trying to fix it by putting more hot sauce on....

 

That's our policy for everything, got too much debt, spend more! People in a foreign country don't like you, invade them and make an bitter enemy out of them. bank fails because it can't manage money, give it more money to mis manage. When you operate under the logic that you have to spend money to make money, with no plan to actually make money AND you have to power to print your own money at the expense of your citizenry it's a recipe for catastrophy.

 

I really think the logic of fining people for not having something they can't afford is GENIUS btw.... I mean honestly let's look at this logically, on one side people want everyone insured, on the other people want insurance to remain privatized, fining people is win win with some added bonuses IMO. See we give people the option 1) pay for insurance 2) leave the country In a years time 100% of the US will be insured AND on private insurance, all the illegal immigrants will be gone and we'll be rid of the pesky poor people. I honestly don't see a drawback to the situation. Of course if you're poor I can understand you being upset, just make sure you're expressing your anger from some place else! We will eliminate the poor not by creating good paying jobs, but taxing them until they get the hint, let's face poor people don't pay enough taxes, they just don't make enough to make a dent in the debt burden we've placed on everyone. It's time to pay up or shut up and GET OUT!
