Pretty impressive storm, currently a category 4. Looks like NC will get some rain and a bit breezy, I can't imagine it causing any notable damage. NC is on the west side (weaker side, in the northern hemisphere anyway) of the storm, and the storm will remain offshore, yet I'm anticipating Jim Cantore finding the strongest gusts (probably between 2 tall buildings) and trying his darndest to lean into the wind.

I wouldn't be surprised if CNN bought a neighborhood and leveled it just for the storm. You can buy a whole town for nothing right now. Last storm that came through here they were describing it as a war zone and running photos of garbage that blew out of peoples cans and trailer parks.
