This guy i know from college seems very intent on racing me...since he's almost certain theres not a snowballs chance in hell that I could even keep up with him...my tiny engine and all.



As far as I know he's running a pretty much stock car...sounds like it might have an exhaust system on it...but the way dude talks he hasn't done anything under the hood...I don't think he knows how...seems like he pays people to change his wiper blades and bulbs



THe firebird has an automatic as i mentioned in my description...and it still has a/c on the car



I'm running a 12A from atkins rotary, 4bbl Nikki modified by Paul Yaw...which also has larger jets, No emissions on the engine, no cats...straight pipe from "header" back to a glass pack...i've taken out a bunch of useless crap...like the air pump...a/c....should shave some weight off



Dude is claiming he pulled an 11.8 @ 1/4 mile...but somehow i'm doubting that...and he's also supposed to have some sponsors or something...it'd really be funny if I stomped his butt in front of em :P



so u guys think i should give him a run for his money??

its a 1/8 mile run instead of a 1/4



very strange...very strange...unless this is just something i've never heard of...

but any time I hear someone talking about racing on the track they talk about running a quarter...an eight...that doesn't even sound cool :P

 

if you race him, don't do it for money just for fun. either way, it'd let you know what your car stands up to.

just kept it on the street until now...track might be more fun

and less likely to get me pulled over
