You need to copy one layer and then paste it onto the 2nd layer.

In other words you can paste one image directly onto a 2nd image.

You have to use the selection tool and select the area you want then go to edit>copy. Then use the selection tool again and click on the layer (pic) you want to paste it on then click edit>paste.

You can use the "move" tool and adjust the image to the exact position you want

Then merge the images together when you have them the way you want them.

You can also change the opacity of either item to "fade" the two together. Or you can use the select tool to only copy ceratian parts of an image. Like if you wanted to copy a set of head lamps and the n paste them onto a differnt car etc..

If you want to copy the entire image you use "select all" then click the other image and go to "edit" then "paste"

Otherwise you need to use one of the three selection tools.

There are tons of online photoshop tutorials.

ok.. you gonna put the whole picture into the other pic? well the easiest way is to open both pics.. make it so you can see both on the screen.. then click the "Move tool" With that tool selected, click and drag the picture from one window over to the other.. the cursor will change wen you have it over the other pictures window. Let go of the mouse and it will drop the picture there.. if not use photoshop help to give you a break down of what the tools do..

another easy way.. it to use the rectangular Marquee tool.. Select the picture or part of a picture you want to add to the other pic, by dragging a box around it.. then just like in a typing progam you can copy and paste... Hold Ctrl + C to copy whatever you selected.. then open the other picture in photoshop and press Ctrl + V.. this will paste whatever the hell you copied..
