Long Story short. In Feburary this year a bunch of us on the Hobart Welding Msg Board got pissed about a situation with one of their employees. (The Co. lied to him); so a bunch of us left and migrated over to www.weldingweb.com , which a the time had maybee 20 members. The site quickly EXPLODED to 1400 members, all was well. Then the admin gave an 18 year old PUNK a moderator position. This kid thought he was a GODERATOR. This kid deleted posts, stuck his nose in where it didnt belong. We tried to reason with the ADMIN,/owner and he said he would rain this kid in.



Go to this weekend, a Senior member posts this:

It is immediately pulled by the GODERATOR. Things go downhill fast, ending up with all the founding members being IP BANNED.

 

Nice to know we're safe here...

That is just plain retarded. You don't ban original members. Especially if your forum/club/organazation is 1000+ members deep. That is just stupid. At least we all feel comfortable here, and phins would never ban us. As long as you are not saying or doing stupid ****.
