How Many Rustangs Do You Have In Your Town?
As far as the muscle car statement goes, I really don't consider anything outside of 73 a muscle car. There is "80s muscle" ie turbocharged 6 cyl's such as the Grand National. And also we have the new Vettes with a LS6 and Viper with its V10, but they're still not really "muscle cars." Especially when compared to the Muscle cars of the 60s and early 70s.
And, last time i checked vettes were never really muscle cars.

one low 9 second mustang I know of around here has no rust whatsoever
its show car quality.
while not street driven on a daily basis ( slicks, narrowed rear, tin interior and roll cage make that hard ), the guy who owns it does drive it back and forth to his
shop to work on it............sick bastid that he is.

the 11 second stangs in my town all belong to one house and are all prepped and worked on in their 4 car garage.
they started their cobra once with just headers on it.... i heard it on the OTHER side of the lake we live around. (its not a small lake)
and all their cars are meticulously clean, they crashed one of the fox bodies (the younger kid crashed his) and i swear in under 2-3 days it was repaired to mint condition.
must be fun to have that kinda money.
edit: oh and the older brother is a sheriff. you may recall me racing the younger brother who said he was pushing 450whp (i seriously doubt he was at that time, cause he was slow and his engine bay has definitely changed since) but just recently he showed new 11 second timeslips at the local hangout.
